Legacy Forward: The Living Legacy 2025 Strategic Plan
Legacy Forward: The Living Legacy 2025 Strategic Plan builds on a decade of progress by the Black Child Legacy Campaign (BCLC), which has helped reduce African American child deaths in Sacramento County by 27%. Grounded in data, community leadership and culturally responsive wraparound supports, the plan calls for deeper investment and systems change to close racial disparity gaps across BCLC’s four focus areas of child deaths. Over the next five years, it guides expansion to an eighth neighborhood and advances a shared commitment to eliminating preventable African American child deaths so all children and families in Sacramento County can thrive.
