By September 28, 2017News

This week more than 35 community members trained to become first responders when violence or other crisis occurs in a neighborhood to provide social, emotional, spiritual and other support services. Community first responders are trained, equipped and supported to serve in the seven Black Child Legacy Campaign neighborhoods. The training is conducted by the Urban Peace Institute and is supported by the City of Sacramento, The California Endowment and the Black Child Legacy Campaign. Listen to a NewsRadio KFBK recording.
